LOGOS Asia takes the first steps to NetZero

Recognizing the need for a NetZero partner

LOGOS Asia, an international logistics and real estate company, set up its operations in India in 2024. Known globally to offer a vertically integrated service that is designed to help businesses grow. LOGOS Asia has circa 1 million sqm of property owned and under development, with a total asset under management of more than US$ 1 billion.

In India, the company focused on investment management, development of industrial, logistics and data centre assets and execute logistics asset management. Given the large scope of their operations and their environmental impact, LOGOS Asia needed an immediate, effective solution to align their Indian operations with their global sustainability vision. 

Building a sustainability management infrastructure with TSC

As per WEF study, buildings contribute to 38% of all energy-related greenhouse gas emissions. LOGOS Asia understood its impact and wanted to strategise a clear plan to limit and negate the impact of the properties handled by them. The first step was to establish a sustainability management infrastructure that allowed them to map, report and manage their emissions. 

The Sustainability Cloud’s solutions, TSC NetZero, TSC Water and TSC Energy were integrated into LOGOS Asia’s systems to track their carbon emissions, water input and output as well energy consumption. A complete digital infrastructure was built to ensure complete footprint mapping. 

Monitoring and reducing LOGOS Asia’s footprint

In the newly established India operations of LOGOS Asia, carbon footprinting was yet to be conducted. However, the leadership at the organization was well aware of the importance of conducting it to enable transparency in operations and for stakeholder accountability. 

Through our advanced tools, LOGOS Asia gained real-time insights into its water, carbon and energy footprint, helping the company identify and address key impact areas. 

Workforce upskilling and education in sustainability management

Sustainability management has recently become a key component of business operations. While organizations recognize its importance, many lack the knowledge and skilled workforce required to execute it effectively. For a newly established organization like LOGOS Asia, embarking on its Net Zero journey, upskilling the workforce was crucial. This ranged from educating employees on environmental compliances, understanding carbon accounting principles, and implementing data-driven sustainability strategies.

To bridge this knowledge gap, The Sustainability Cloud conducted extensive training sessions, equipping LOGOS teams with the necessary skills to adopt and implement sustainability frameworks effectively. Through interactive workshops and hands-on demonstrations, employees gained a thorough understanding of how to use TSC’s software to track, manage, and report emissions seamlessly. This initiative not only empowered the workforce but also laid the foundation for a robust sustainability strategy within LOGOS Asia.
